Belief without Works vs. Belief with Works
Why are ‘works’ nesscesary for salvation?
Answer: Everyone will be judged according to their works. Not one will escape judgement.
“For the Son of Adam is going to come in the esteem of His Father with His messengers, and then He shall reward each according to his works.
Mat 16:27
And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before the throne, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged from what was written in the books, according to their works.
Chazun (rev) 20:12
YahuChanan 3:19 “And this is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light, for their works were wicked.
YahuChanan 3:19-21
YahuChanan 3:20 “For everyone who is practising evil matters hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed.
YahuChanan 3:21 “But the one doing the truth comes to the light, so that his works are clearly seen, that they have been wrought in Alahiym.”
Rev 2:26 “And he who overcomes, and guards My works until the end, to him I shall give authority over the nations,
Chazun (Rev) 2:26-28
Rev 2:27 and he shall shepherd them with a rod of iron, as the potter’s vessels shall be broken to pieces, as I also have received from My Father.
Rev 2:28 “And I shall give him the morning star.
YahuChanan 8:37 “I know that you are the seed of Abraham, but you seek to kill Me, because My word has no place in you.
YahuChanan 8:37-39
YahuChanan 8:38 “I speak what I have seen with My Father, and you do what you have heard from your father.”
YahuChanan 8:39 They answered and said to Him, “Abraham is our father.” Yahusha said to them, “If you were Abraham’s children, you would do the works of Abraham.
Example of Belief without Works:
MathathYahu 15:1 Then there came to Yahusha scribes and Pharisees from Yarushalam, saying,
MathathYahu 15:1-19
MathathYahu 15:2 “Why do Your taught ones transgress the tradition of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat bread.”
MathathYahu 15:3 But He answering, said to them, “Why do you also transgress the command of Alahiym because of your tradition?
MathathYahu 15:4 “For Alahiym has commanded, saying, ‘Respect your father and your mother,’ and, ‘He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.’
MathathYahu 15:5 “But you say, ‘Whoever says to his father or mother, “Whatever profit you might have received from me has been dedicated,”
MathathYahu 15:6 is certainly released from respecting his father or mother.’ So you have nullified the command of Alahiym by your tradition.
MathathYahu 15:7 “Hypocrites! YashaYahu rightly prophesied about you, saying,
MathathYahu 15:8 ‘This people draw near to Me with their mouth, and respect Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me.
MathathYahu 15:9 ‘But in vain do they worship Me, teaching as teachings the commands of men.’ ”
YashaYahu 29:13 And Yahuah says, “Because this people has drawn near with its mouth, and with its lips they have esteemed Me, and it has kept its heart far from Me, and their fear of Me has become a command of men that is taught!
Partial Belief and Belief without Works
Ya’auqub 2:14 My brothers, what use is it for anyone to say he has belief but does not have works? This belief is unable to save him.
Ya’auqub 2:17 So also belief, if it does not have works, is in itself dead.
Ya’auqub 2:18 But someone might say, “You have belief, and I have works.” Show me your belief without your works, and I shall show you my belief by my works.
Ya’auqub 2:19 You believe that Alahiym is one. You do well. The demons also believe – and shudder!
Ya’auqub 2:20 But do you wish to know, O foolish man, that the belief without the works is dead?
Ya’auqub 2:21 Was not Abraham our father declared right by works when he offered Yatschaq his son on the altar?
Ya’auqub 2:22 Do you see that the belief was working with his works, and by the works the belief was perfected?
Ya’auqub 2:23 And the Scripture was filled which says, “Abraham believed Alahiym, and it was reckoned to him for righteousness.” And he was called, “Alahiym’s friend.”
Ya’auqub 2:24 You see, then, that a man is declared right by works, and not by belief alone.
Ya’auqub 2:25 In the same way, was not Rachab the whore also declared right by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way?
Ya’auqub 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so also the belief is dead without the works.
The outcome of ‘Belief without Works’:
MathathYahu 7:21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Master, Master,’ shall enter into the reign of the shamiym, but he who is doing the desire of My Father in the shamiym.
MathathYahu 7:22 “Many shall say to Me in that day, ‘Master, Master, have we not prophesied in Your Name, and cast out demons in Your Name, and done many mighty works in Your Name?’
MathathYahu 7:23 “And then I shall declare to them, ‘I never knew you, depart from Me, you who work lawlessness!’
Romans 10:14 How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without one proclaiming?
YahuChanan 3:18 “He who believes in Him is not judged, but he who does not believe is judged already, because he has not believed in the Name of the only brought-forth Son of Alahiym.
YahuChanan 3:19 “And this is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light, for their works were wicked.

1YahuChanan 2:4 The one who says, “I know Him,” and does not guard His commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
YahuChanan 12:47 “And if anyone hears My Words but does not watch over them, I do not judge him. For I did not come to judge the world but to save the world.

YahuChanan 12:49 “Because I spoke not from Myself, but the Father who sent Me has given Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak.
YahuChanan 12:50 “And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, as the Father has said to Me, so I speak.”
Rev 20:15 And if anyone was not found written in the Book of Life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.
