What is the Purpose of Immersion?

Become a New Creature Through the Resurrection of Yahusha

Kaph Alaph 3:18-22

1Pet 3:18 Because even Messiah once suffered for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to Alahiym, having been put to death indeed in flesh but made alive in the Spirit,

1Pet 3:19 in which also He went and proclaimed unto the spirits in prison,

1Pet 3:20 who were disobedient at one time when the patience of Alahiym waited in the days of Nach, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight beings, were saved through water,

1Pet 3:21 which figure now also saves us: immersion – not a putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward Alahiym – through the resurrection of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 Messiah,

1Pet 3:22 who, having gone into shamiym, is at the right hand of Alahiym, messengers and authorities and powers having been subjected to Him.

Kaph Alaph 3:18-22

2 Corinthians 5:17-21

2Cor 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Messiah, he is a renewed creature – the old matters have passed away, see, all matters have become renewed!

2Cor 5:18 And all matters are from Alahiym, who has restored us to favor with Himself through 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 Messiah, and has given us the service of restoration to favor,

2Cor 5:19 that is, that Alahiym was in Messiah restoring the world to favor unto Himself, not reckoning their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of restoration to favor.

2Cor 5:20 Therefore we are envoys on behalf of Messiah, as though Alahiym were pleading through us. We beg, on behalf of Messiah: Be restored to favor with Alahiym.

2Cor 5:21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of Alahiym.

2 Corinthians 5:17-21

Write the Commands on Our Hearts

YaramYahu 31:31-40

Jer 31:30 “But each one shall die for his own crookedness – whoever eats sour grapes, his teeth shall be blunted.

Jer 31:31 “See, the days are coming,” declares 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, “when I shall make a new covenant with the house of Yashara’Al and with the house of Yahudah,

Jer 31:32 not like the covenant I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Matsriym, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them,” declares 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.

Jer 31:33 “For this is the covenant I shall make with the house of Yashara’Al after those days, declares 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 : I shall put My Thurath in their inward parts, and write it on their hearts. And I shall be their Alahiym, and they shall be My people.

Jer 31:34 “And no longer shall they teach, each one his neighbor, and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄,’ for they shall all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them,” declares 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄. “For I shall forgive their crookedness, and remember their sin no more.”

Jer 31:35 Thus said 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, who gives the sun for a light by day, and the laws of the moon and the stars for a light by night, who stirs up the sea, and its waves roar – 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 of hosts is His Name:

Jer 31:36 “If these laws vanish from before Me,” declares 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, “then the seed of Yashara’Al shall also cease from being a nation before Me forever.”

Jer 31:37 Thus said 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, “If the shamiym above could be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I would also cast off all the seed of Yashara’Al for all that they have done,” declares 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.

Jer 31:38 “See, the days are coming,” declares 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, “that the city shall be built for 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 from the Tower of Chanan’Al to the Corner Gate.

Jer 31:39 “And the measuring line shall again extend straight ahead to the hill Garab, then it shall turn toward Ga’authah.

Jer 31:40 “And all the valley of the dead bodies and of the ashes, and all the fields as far as the valley Qadrun, to the corner of the Horse Gate toward the east, is to be set-apart to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄. It shall not be plucked up or thrown down any more forever.”

YaramYahu 31:31-40

Yachazaq’al 36:24-29

Ezek 36:24 “And I shall take you from among the gentiles, and I shall gather you out of all lands, and I shall bring you into your own land.

Ezek 36:25 “And I shall sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean – from all your filthiness and from all your idols I cleanse you.

Ezek 36:26 “And I shall give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you. And I shall take the heart of stone out of your flesh, and I shall give you a heart of flesh,

Ezek 36:27 and put My Spirit within you. And I shall cause you to walk in My laws and guard My right-rulings and shall do them.

Ezek 36:28 “And you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers. And you shall be My people, and I shall be your Alahiym.

Ezek 36:29 “And I shall save you from all your uncleannesses. And I shall call for the grain and increase it, and I shall bring no scarcity of food upon you.

Yachazaq’al 36:24-29

Is there anyone that you need to forgive in your heart?

  • Decide to forgive and let the unforgiveness die in the water
  • Do not carry unforgiveness into your new life in Yahusha

MathathYahu 18:21-35

Mat 18:21 Then Kaph came to Him and said, “Master, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?”

Mat 18:22 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.

Mat 18:23 “Because of this the reign of the shamiym is like a certain man, a sovereign who wished to settle accounts with his servants.

Mat 18:24 “And when he had begun to settle, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents,

Mat 18:25 but as he was unable to pay, his master commanded that he be sold, with his wife and children and all that he had, and payment to be made.

Mat 18:26 “Then the servant fell down before him, saying, ‘Master, have patience with me, and I shall pay you all.’

Mat 18:27 “And the master of that servant was moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt.

Mat 18:28 “And that servant went out and found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred pieces of money. And he laid hands on him and took him by the throat, saying, ‘Pay me what you owe!’

Mat 18:29 “Then his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, ‘Have patience with me, and I shall pay you all.’

Mat 18:30 “But he would not, and went and threw him into prison till he should pay the debt.

Mat 18:31 “And when his fellow servants saw what had been done, they were deeply grieved, and came and reported to their master all that had taken place.

Mat 18:32 “Then his master called him and said to him, ‘Wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt seeing you begged me.

Mat 18:33 ‘Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, as I also had compassion on you?’

Mat 18:34 “And his master was wroth, and delivered him to the torturers until he should pay all that was due to him.

Mat 18:35 “So also My heavenly Father shall do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses.”

MathathYahu 18:21-35

MathathYahu 6:7-15

Mat 6:7 “And when praying, do not keep on babbling like the gentiles. For they think that they shall be heard for their many words.

Mat 6:8 “Therefore do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.

Mat 6:9 “This, then, is the way you should pray: ‘Our Father who is in the shamiym, let Your Name be set-apart,

Mat 6:10 let Your reign come, let Your desire be done on earth as it is in shamiym.

Mat 6:11 ‘Give us today our daily bread.

Mat 6:12 ‘And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

Mat 6:13 ‘And do not lead us into trial, but deliver us from the wicked one – because Yours is the reign and the power and the esteem, forever. Aman.’

Mat 6:14 “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father shall also forgive you.

Mat 6:15 “But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither shall your Father forgive your trespasses.

MathathYahu 6:7-15

Immerse in the Names of Yahuah and Yahusha

“Therefore, go and make taught ones of all the nations, immersing them in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Set-apart Spirit

MathathYahu 28:19

Immerse in the Living Water

And on the last day, the great day of the festival, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me, and let him who believes in Me drink.
“As the Scripture said, out of His innermost shall flow rivers of living water.”

YahuChanan 7:37-38

Alahiym uses living bodies of water for immersion.

Witness 1: The Great Flood

Witness 2: Crossing the Red Sea

1Cor 10:1 For I do not wish you to be ignorant, brothers, that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea,
1Cor 10:2 and all were immersed into Mashah in the cloud and in the sea,
1Cor 10:3 and all ate the same spiritual food,
1Cor 10:4 and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed, and the Rock was Messiah.

1Cor 10:1-4

Witness 3: The Yardan (Jordan) River

Mat 3:13 Then 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 came from Galil to YahuChanan at the Yardan to be immersed by him.
Mat 3:14 But YahuChanan was hindering Him, saying, “I need to be immersed by You, and You come to me?”
Mat 3:15 But 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 answering, said to him, “Permit it now, for thus it is fitting for us to fill all righteousness.” Then he permitted Him.
Mat 3:16 And having been immersed, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 went up immediately from the water, and see, the shamiym were opened, and He saw the Spirit of Alahiym descending like a dove and coming upon Him,
Mat 3:17 and see, a voice out of the shamiym, saying, “This is My Son, the Beloved, in whom I did delight.”

MathathYahu 3:13-17

Yahusha is the ‘Living Water’

YahuChanan 4:7 A woman of Shamarun came to draw water. 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 said to her, “Give Me to drink.”

YahuChanan 4:8 For His taught ones had gone off into the city to buy food.

YahuChanan 4:9 The woman of Shamarun therefore said to Him, “How is it that You, being a Yahudiy, ask a drink from me, a woman of Shamarun?” For Yahudiym do not associate with Shamaraniym.

YahuChanan 4:10 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of Alahiym, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me to drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”

YahuChanan 4:11 The woman said to Him, “Master, You have no vessel, and the well is deep. From where, then, do You have living water?

YahuChanan 4:12 “Are You greater than our father Ya’auqub, who gave us the well, and drank from it himself, and his sons, and his cattle?”

YahuChanan 4:13 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 answered and said to her, “Everyone drinking of this water shall thirst again,

YahuChanan 4:14 but whoever drinks of the water I give him shall certainly never thirst. And the water that I give him shall become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”

YahuChanan 4:15 The woman said to Him, “Master, give me this water, so that I do not thirst, nor come here to draw.”

YahuChanan 4:7-15

“For My people have done two evils: they have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters, to hew out for themselves cisterns, cracked cisterns, which do not hold water.

YaramYahu2:13

O 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, the expectation of Yashara’Al, all who forsake You are put to shame. “Those who depart from Me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, the fountain of living waters.”

YaramYahu17:13

Endure until the end

Hebrew 6:1 Therefore, having left the word of the beginning of the Messiah, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of belief toward Alahiym,

Hebrew 6:2 of the teaching of immersions, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of everlasting judgment.

Hebrew 6:3 And this we shall do, if Alahiym indeed permits.

Hebrew 6:4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Set-apart Spirit,

Hebrew 6:5 and have tasted the good Word of Alahiym and the powers of the age to come,

Hebrew 6:6 and fall away, to renew them again to repentance – having impaled for themselves the Son of Alahiym again, and put Him to open shame.

Hebrew 6:7 For ground that is drinking the rain often falling on it, and is bearing plants fit for those by whom it is tilled, receives blessing from Alahiym,

Hebrew 6:8 but if it brings forth thorns and thistles, it is rejected and near to being cursed, and ends up by being burned.

Hebrew 6:9 But although we speak in this way, beloved, we are persuaded, concerning you, of better matters which possess deliverance.

Hebrew 6:10 For Alahiym is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His Name, in that you have attended to the set-apart ones, and still attend.

Hebrew 6:11 And we desire that each one of you show the same eagerness, to the entire confirmation of expectation until the end,

Hebrew 6:12 in order that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through belief and patience inherit the promises.

Hebrew 6:13 For Alahiym, having promised Abraham, since He could swear by no one greater, swore by Himself,

Hebrew 6:14 saying, “Truly, blessing I shall bless you, and increasing I shall increase you.”

Hebrew 6:15 And so, after being patient, he obtained the promise.

Hebrew 6:16 For men do indeed swear by the one greater, and an oath for confirmation is for them an end of all dispute.

Hebrew 6:17 In this way Alahiym, resolving to show even more clearly to the heirs of promise the unchangeableness of His purpose, confirmed it by an oath,

Hebrew 6:18 so that by two unchangeable matters in which it is impossible for Alahiym to lie, we might have strong encouragement, we who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the expectation set before us,

Hebrew 6:19 which we have as an anchor of the life, both safe and firm, and entering into that within the veil,

Hebrew 6:20 where 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 has entered as a forerunner for us, having become High Priest forever according to the order of Malkiy-Tsadaq.

Hebrew 6:1-20

Hebrews 10:26-39

Hebrew 10:26 For if we sin purposely after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a slaughter offering for sins,

Hebrew 10:27 but some fearsome anticipation of judgment, and a fierce fire which is about to consume the opponents.

Hebrew 10:28 Anyone who has disregarded the Thurah of Mashah dies without compassion on the witness of two or three witnesses.

Hebrew 10:29 How much worse punishment do you think shall he deserve who has trampled the Son of Alahiym underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was set apart as common, and insulted the Spirit of favor?

Hebrew 10:30 For we know Him who has said, “Vengeance is Mine, I shall repay, says 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.” And again, “𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 shall judge His people.”

Hebrew 10:31 It is fearsome to fall into the hands of the living Alahiym.

Hebrew 10:32 But remember the former days, when, after you were enlightened, you endured a great struggle with sufferings.

Hebrew 10:33 On the one hand you were exposed to reproaches and pressures, and on the other hand you became sharers with those who were so treated,

Hebrew 10:34 for you sympathised with me in my chains, and you accepted with joy the seizure of your possessions, knowing that you have a better and a lasting possession for yourselves in the shamiym.

Hebrew 10:35 Do not, then, lose your boldness, which has great reward.

Hebrew 10:36 For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the desire of Alahiym, you receive the promise:

Hebrew 10:37 “For yet a little while – He who is coming shall come and shall not delay.”

Hebrew 10:38 “But the righteous shall live by belief, but if anyone draws back, my being has no pleasure in him.”

Hebrew 10:39 But we are not of those who draw back to destruction, but of belief to the preservation of life.

Hebrew 10:26:39

Here is the endurance of the set-apart ones, here are those guarding the commands of Alahiym and the belief of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏.

Chazun (Rev) 14:12

Mat 28:18 And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in shamiym and on earth.
Mat 28:19 “Therefore, go and make taught ones of all the nations, immersing them in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Set-apart Spirit,
Mat 28:20 teaching them to guard all that I have commanded you. And see, I am with you always, until the end of the age.” Aman.
